HOTstream Interactive IPTV, recently released the new High Definition version 3.9. The latest
version supports High Definition (HD) content delivery, offering for the first time the best available
quality to hotel guests. HD channels, HD video on demand (VOD) movies and HD content from various sources
are delivered through HOTstream to hotel rooms enabling hotel management to actually exploit the newly
installed HD and HD ready TV sets.
To achieve HD quality, HOTstream development team proceed into certain upgrades in various parts of the
system, including but not limiting to:
Design and release of a new HD set-top-box that supports up to Full HD
quality. The new set-top-box is significantly smaller than the previous one and maintains all the
standard features that distinguish HOTstream from competition. Both software and hardware are upgraded
and redesigned for HD quality.
Bigger storage capacity to enhance the existing dual server architecture,
adding in parallel enough storage capacity to extend the movie library with more HD quality movies.
Newly designed HOTstream remote control which substitutes TV’s
remote control and has a "Video On Demand" shortcut button to access in a single step the movie library with
the HD and SD movies.
Due to the improved video quality that HOTstream offers to your hotel, your in-room hospitality
