The painter and engraver Manolis Charos (www.charosm.com) and Media
Communications SA are working together on an innovative idea of art and technology exclusively for the
hospitality sector.
The scattered display screens in the public areas of the hotels affect significantly the aesthetics of the hotel, especially when
they are turned-off or when they offer static information. The cooperation between Manolis Charos and Media Communications changes
the standards êáé use them in an alternative way, turning each display screen into a painting and all of them into an art event
exclusively designed and customized for the hotel and the visitors. The Greek artist participate actively in the whole process by
selecting the paintings that will be exposed, creating unique digital art shows.
The digital paintings are presented through ArtView application of HOTstream Signage, allowing the hotel
to dynamically manage remotely all the display screens. Mr. Manolis Charos has also created a series of screen savers exclusively
for HOTstream product family so when the visitors do not use HOTstream hotel interactive services, the TV sets of the room will
transform into digital art galleries.
